Henry has really taken to "real" food and we're introducing new foods every week! This week we introduced asparagus. Henry loved it. He gets that from his granddad, I guess. We used the Babycook homemade baby food maker that Henry's Mimi got us to make the asparagus.
I have to say, the asparagus that thing made was really quite tasty. It cooked it just right, and then pureed it with the built in processor. One bunch of asparagus made 4 servings, not too bad. Henry just wishes we would hurry up and feed him.
We're venturing into the realm of solid foods! Henry has been eating his rice cereal! On night one, we all sat at the dinner table (instead of the couch) and had dinner together! Henry wore a stylish food-proof bib to keep clean.
By night two we realized that the bib was mostly a distraction. We decided to forego the bib and just get messy.
By night three we realized that what we really need to do is just get naked, then eat, and straight to the bath!
