Weekends mean yardwork, driving to the grocery store and/or Lowe's or just hanging out in the backyard!  I got the ladder out and before I could turn back around Henry shot up to the top!  And

But long hours in the Austin Summer sun^* will wear you out!

^*Spring, I know.  But it's Summer here.  95 today in the backyard according to the thermometor!

Henry is really learning to walk and he loves his newfound mobility!  We've twice now taken a stroll around the block, Henry walking the entire way all by himself with his walker-wagon.  He likes it so much he completely loses it whenever it is time to come back inside.

This thing is good for more than just learning to walk.  How about learning to ride!?

We were checking out some of the trains that Henry's cousin Ethan gave him.  Our favorite thing to do is play Godzilla and knock the trains off the track.

Henry has been really working hard on standing up and learning to walk.  To help him out, his mother got him a Radio Flyer wagon walker.  Henry loves it.

In fact, he really didn't want to let it go.

But as big a fan as Henry is of the wagon walker, others are not so sure.

Henry got a baby pool, so we decided to try it out.  So far so good, he seems to be a fish like me.   He loved playing in the pool, and when we got him out, he all but jumped right back in!  Next step: the BIG pool.  Then: the beach in North Carolina in July!

Miss Nicole (aka Dr. Kuhlmann) gave Henry this adorable maritime-themed overhead gym for Christmas.  It has been quite a hit and Henry's batting and kicking skills are improving daily.  If only Mommy could say the same about her dedication to workout time!

This snugglie bear blankie has quickly become one of Henry's favourites and it works wonders for helping lull him to sleep.

One of Henry's first stuffed animals was this cat from his Nana because it resembles Steve Guttenberg- except it's flat as a pancake hence the feline's name!  Well, Henry has now decided he's a big boy who can sit up in the glider rocker on his own so he thought he'd let Flapjack Steve rock out with him!

Henry has discovered the baby in the mirror!  He hasn't quite realized that it is himself, but in due time.  He's interesting, whoever he is.
